Windows/Office Service Packs and Updates

We can setup the Microsoft Software Update Service, or the soon to released Windows Update Service, to deploy service packs to your clients and server automatically.  We also use third party products like Shavlik's HFNetChkLT to manage service packs, and even office updates!  We can visit each computer and deploy updates manually as well.

The problem is if you don't do the updates you run the risk of a new virus damaging your systems.  For example when Lov San came out last year, the clients that I update regularly did not get infected.  Was your company so lucky?  Keeping your client PC's and servers up to date is just one way to defend against viruses and worms.

Automatic Updates

There are several ways to automatically update your clients.  You can use the Microsoft Software Update Service, or third party products like Shavlik's HFNetChkLT.  These automatic services will update your clients and you don't have to worry about it.

Manual Updates

When we work on any computer, we always up date it to the latest service packs, and office updates.  However that's great if you have a problem all of the time.  But what if you don't?  Then your pc could be a serious risk.  Some users complain that they can't go to Windows update.  That's because they don't have local administrator rights.  Let us manage and update all of your client pc's for you!

Viruses and worms can be downright evil.  Some viruses can flash your bios.  When this happens your bios is destroyed.  When you reboot your computer, it will not boot.  The only way to fix is to replace the bios on your motherboard.  This may mean sending your motherboard to the manufacture!  You could be down for weeks!
